Every year, Chicago bursts into a lively sea of green for the Shamrock Shuffle, where thousands of runners hit the pavement, ready to conquer the course. But behind the cheers and sneakers pounding the pavement, there’s another race happening—the organizers’ race against time. Their challenge? Masterminding a flawless experience for runners, spectators, and volunteers alike. And at the heart of their playbook? Keeping things clean, safe, and fresh every step of the way.

Over the span of six days, more than 30 of our team members became the heroes behind the heroes, ensuring that every truck was loaded, every route was planned, and every restroom was perfectly placed and picked up without disrupting the city’s vibrant pulse. Thanks to their wizardry, the event organizers could focus on what they do best—creating an unforgettable race experience.
